PARTICIPATION & RECIPROCITY
NETWORK

The project is built as a Participatory Network that weaves together diverse people and stakeholders around a shared process. Within it, each contribution arises from its own place, generating an exchange that enriches both the artwork and the collective experience.

This network brings together the local community, collaborators, volunteers, and those who support the project, forming an ecosystem of relationships where each connection strengthens its meaning and expands its cultural, social, and educational impact.

Nature, Animals, and Plants

The project contributes to making the importance of local flora and fauna visible, promoting respect, appreciation, and care for the ecosystem.

Through the mural, animals and plants are recognized as living parts of the territory, reminding us that each species plays a fundamental role in the balance of ecosystems and in the life of human communities.

Art makes it possible to give presence and voice to nature, inviting people to observe it, understand it, and care for it.

In this way, nature is no longer perceived merely as landscape, but is revealed as a “Living Being” with which we share the territory and of which we are also a part.

The community benefits through the enhancement of public space, the strengthening of a sense of belonging, and the creation of spaces for gathering and exchange. The mural becomes a cultural and natural symbol of the place, promoting local identity and community pride.

The artwork contributes to revaluing public space as a place for coexistence, contemplation, and dialogue, where art becomes part of everyday life. The mural can also become a point of reference within the town, encouraging encounters among neighbors and strengthening the bond between the community and its natural environment.

The project can spark in children and young people an interest in art, nature, and knowledge of their own territory, stimulating curiosity, creativity, and a deeper awareness of caring for the natural environment.

Murals function as a form of visual learning in public space, where people can learn about and revalue the species that inhabit their ecosystem and understand their role within biodiversity.

Schools, teachers, and educational spaces can use the murals as an open pedagogical resource, integrating art with content related to nature, local culture, and environmental care.

The participation of collaborators and volunteers is an opportunity to become involved in a collective cultural project, supporting the process of creating the mural.

Through different tasks, people can gain hands-on experience, artistic learning, and a close connection to the creation of public art. In some cases, this participation may open the possibility for specific collaborations or roles related to the project, depending on emerging needs.

Those who acquire the digital and physical artworks created for each mural become part of the collective effort that makes the project possible within the community.

Through their support, they help fund and bring to life this vision of painting nature into shared spaces.

The mural becomes a cultural and visual landmark where visitors can discover the natural richness of the place and enjoy public space. It invites people to observe its details, engage with it, and capture the moment through photographs.

Through a web link integrated into the mural, visitors can access a PDF infographic explaining its meaning and the species represented—expanding the experience and fostering a deeper awareness of biodiversity.

The project can generate indirect economic activity within the community, both during the mural’s creation and over time, by attracting visitors, cultural activities, and greater circulation in the area.

This increased flow can support nearby shops and small businesses, helping to energize the local microeconomy.

The digital audience will be able to access the mural’s content from anywhere in the world.

Once each mural is completed, an educational PDF with the artwork’s infographic will be uploaded to the website, presenting its meaning and the species represented.

This material preserves a visual and educational record, extending the creation beyond the territory where the mural was made. The content can be downloaded, printed, and shared from anywhere in the world, allowing art and knowledge to continue circulating.

This project represents an expansion of my practice as an artist. It allows me to develop my work in real contexts, in relationship with territory, nature, and communities, deeply enriching my experience.

Through each mural, I expand my practice, research, and visual language, learning from every place and every shared process. This exchange nurtures both my artistic work and my way of understanding and continuing to learn.

At the same time, the project enables me to sustain my practice independently, through a system in which the resources generated are reinvested into the process itself, making both the creation of the murals and the continuity of my artistic work possible.

In this way, the benefit is not only individual, but part of a broader process, where personal and artistic growth is interwoven with the cultural and social contribution that the project brings to each community.
