PROJECT METHODOLOGY
The development of each mural follows a process that integrates research, artistic creation, and engagement with the territory, allowing each work to reflect the ecosystem and the unique characteristics of the place where it is created.
The main stages of the process are as follows:
Selection of the town or territory where the mural will be developed
The selection of the territory is based on alignment with the project’s principles, prioritizing communities with an active connection to nature, a willingness to participate in the process, and suitable conditions for the development of the project.
Research of the natural environment
A study of the territory’s wild flora and fauna is conducted, identifying representative species of the local ecosystem and gathering relevant information about their habitat, diet, reproduction, and role within biodiversity.
Selection of species and conceptual development
Drawing from the research, the species to be represented in the mural are selected, and the artistic concept is developed, taking into account both their ecological importance and their symbolic and educational value.
Mural Design
The artistic design of the work is developed, integrating the selected species into a visual composition that conveys both the beauty of nature and the project’s educational message.
Preparation of the space and mural execution
The wall is prepared, followed by the execution of the mural. This process may include the participation of collaborators and volunteers at different stages.
Development of digital educational content and online access
Once the mural is completed, a PDF file is created with an infographic that gathers information about the flora and fauna species represented in the artwork.
This content is linked to the mural through a web link, allowing people to easily access the information, explore the meaning of the work in greater depth, and download the material online.
In this way, the mural goes beyond the physical space and becomes a digital educational resource that expands the reach of the project.
